I just want to begin this post by saying that no matter what the outcome of the exam, you are still a great engineer. I have been stressing over this exam for years leading to the actual exam (and a lot more the months and weeks before) but the reality is that no matter the outcome, I will still work as an engineer. I know of many people who have not passed their first try and they are still great engineers. Don’t stress about it.
I am planning to release a few more podcast episodes about this topic in the future but this one is just a broad overview of my experience preparing and taking the PE exam. It was definitively not an easy exam but if you prepare the right way, you will set yourself up for success.
Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you have about the exam.
